SQL Server 2000 uses not more than 1.8 GB of RAM

My database Server has 3 GB of RAM but uses Max 1.8 GB of it.
it runs on Windows Server 2003
i already inserted the /3GB switch in the system start file.
does anybody know something about this problem?

Check the version of MS SQL Server also. If we are talking about Standard edition 1.8 Gb is quite OK.

If you want SQL Server to use more than 2GB you ned to have Enterprise Edition.
