MBS-Navision Developer's Toolkit v2.0 SP2 (build 280)
Navision Developer’s Toolkit is the one, integrated tool that helps Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Partners to maintain, customize and upgrade Microsoft Business Solutions–Navision.
It helps partners work faster and with accuracy, thanks to the direct link between the Navision development environment and the toolkit. While analyzing or upgrading Navision, you simply switch between screens as you work. Its well-laid out and color-coded graphical user interface gives you a clear, in-depth picture of all the elements you are working with, application code, and relations between objects.
The Navision Developers Toolkit, including tools for Source Analysis, as well as a Compare and Merge tool.
Version 2.0 SP2:
- Compatibility To Navision 4.0 SP1 (New C/FRONT DLL added. TCPS Protocol can be used now.)
- New Properties of Navision 4.0 SP1 (“Clustered” and “SQLIndex” added)
- Performance Enhancement For MenuSuite Nodes In Object Administrator
- Coloring Of Deleted Nodes
- Coloring Of GUIDs
Build 280:
This hotfix only contains DevToolkit.exe.
Fix: Merging very huge databases could cause a crash during automatic merge.
See MBS-Navision Developer's Toolkit v2.0 SP2 for the complete setup-program.

Ola,
I cant get this app. to work, can someone help me with this.
This are the creditentials, i put in the open database screen.
http://picserver.student.utwente.nl/view_image.php/DK10B8WZBK71
Then i get error 6 with the following screen.
http://picserver.student.utwente.nl/view_image.php/498028LL5KQ3
After this one i get error 1046.
The database 4.0 is running on a server specified as Navision400Operationeel, with Navision400Operationeel.fdb.
Does someone has an explanation how i get this to work ???

How do you start Devtool.exe?
Check the properties of the used icon (there was missing the "Start directory" in the properties) or start devtool.exe direct from the Devtool directory.
Maybe this helps?

Netype is set to TCPS this is the type we always use.
And i run the program from the install dir.0 -
You need to create a new database in a standard Navision - and import the devtool.fob - and place the database in the developers toolkit-installation-folder.
Then it all should work?
If it does not work with the servername - try to start as stand-alone?
If you already have done the above mentioned - then sorry for the misunderstanding.Regards,
