In segments form-not able to add the sames status once again

Dear friends,
In segmentation->segment tabpage,after adding the interview status (for example: successful)for the first time and then if i delete the status in the segments page->intervew status column and then tried to select the same status by pressing lookup in the interview staus column,it is not adding the selected(same status:successful) status in the interview column.if i change the status then it is adding that status.
please give me a solution how to do it?
