packing material????

Dear Experts,

Wanted to know if navision supports packing material feature..
If yes where can I find it and how can i use it.

For instance i've an item which is a returnable packaging item where the mat packed and sent has to come back to the inventory and get updated for the next set od finished goods that are to be packed.

How do I facilitate this in NAVISION???

I think you must add something about packing material, for example a report, or a new tab in the item card to explain item packing code or anything relate to packaging. did you need only historical data of the item packed and sent or qty ?

Nothing in STD.

You have to develop this kind of thing. Personally, I've made this kind of work for bottles in beverage industries... It takes me some tables ... and many time !

Meaby it exists some performant add-on for this job ?
