Database Server problem

I have installed the server and also provided a name for the same, now when I am trying to access the server from any client, I click on database open and then have a lookup on the available servers I get 'Client Only'. However if I type the name of the server then only I can access the database on the server.

Now if I want to create a new database on the server via the client by clicking on Database->New even then I am getting the error message that you cannot create a new database.

You have to specify the full path to the server to create the database.

If you want it to be a networkdatabase you also need to setup a new instance of the server application,
