How to put in real time(by code) a field bold,or to change color?

    You can use the function UPDATEFONTBOLD and UPDATEFORECOLOR in the OnFormat trigger of a control.

    The background-colour cannot be changed at runtime.

    No, only BOLD, FORECOLOR, SELECTED and INDENT.

    how about font bold for a text variable? for part of the text only. :roll: :roll:

    That is not possible, the font-properties can only be changed for the complete field.
