Dear All,
I need your help to give me a solution to a problem relate to the implementation of navision in a company that produces mechanical parts and products like compressor, fan, etc...I have found difficulties particularly about putting the the technical specification of products, process design and other business process relate to its sales and distribution.

What I know is, that one our customer (creating some meters for water etc...) are using Manufacturing module without problems. All what you need is to have the TNGs for how to assemble it and BOMs for what to assemble. From this, you can plann your production etc...0

There is a productconfigurator that can be connected to Navision, Contact ToIncrease for details.0

Dear all,
Is there any other way beside productconfigurator ? I mean navision without any changes or add-on, can provide a good solution to the company like compressors or fans manufacturer or parts like auto parts, mechanical parts? It looks like navision will not an ERP system anymore if it used by process industry,or it will be if navision base features relate to ERP system still be used. I know that compressors manufacturer will be an assembly company. this seems very hard...

Dear all,
I'd like to continue my question whatI have posted before in order to make more specific and simple. if i want to use navision manufacturing to solve this following situation:
I have an induction furnace to produce molten material i.e. a Cu-Ni alloy having minimum yield strength 60,000 psi & minimum % elongation of 20 %. I have in my inventory a Cu-20% Ni alloy. I've got to design a plan to produce a product 5 kg having the required properties. I need to know if there is a mass balance for Ni (nickel).
I can use routing and production BOM before use planning worksheet, but I don't still have an experience to cope with the problem. Any helps from you will be appreciated.

Dear Ashok,
tks for your reply. It means that foundry manufacturing business process has been fully coped with by navision. I just want to know if it is possible to implement navision rather than axapta, oracle or SAP in the foundry businesses, but I will send you my question if it exists. This opinion of mine is valid if price will be a consideration. I await another answer of my question from this forum members if it's cosidered not enough.
