Hi,
as far as I know, more info about biztalk, microsoft has released microsft biztalk server 2006, where the biztalk is used as a communication means between two or more differents systems. It utilizes microsoft Visual Studio 2005. business process management with biztalk server 2006 consists of :
message -> receive port -XML -- receive pipeline (host) --> message box persistent store --> (business rules inference) engine (orchestration) [host] --> message box persistent store --> host (send pipeline) [message] -- send port -->
new biztalk adapter : peoplesoft, JD Edwards Enterprise1, SAP, etc...
We put the biztalk server 2006 in SQL server 2005 and also using visual studio 2005. So I think with biztalk, we can communicate with SAP, Baan, etc..
