Withholding Tax

Hi,

Can anyone help me in configuring the calculation of withholding tax in Navision 4.0 SP1. Is it available directly. Could we use the sales tax module for this or the tax posting groups available in the base product.

Are you talking about sales tax? Use tax? Payroll tax? Or income tax?

I have made some table and form relate to WHT tax, consists of :
A. Table
1. WHT Business Posting Group
2. WHT Product Posting Group
3. WHT Revenue Types
4. WHT Posting Setup
5. WHT Entry
6. etc

B. Form
1. WHT Business Posting Group
2. WHT Product Posting Group
3. WHT Revenue Types
4. WHT Posting Setup
5. WHT Entry

In every fields in a table have properties set up to make the WHT could be used in Navision. There are also C/AL global and C/AL Local set up and of course, codings.
Is that what you mean ? I think it will be difficult to write and to tell you all of those above mentioned forms and tables.

Hi Ramya...

You can configure settings related to Withholding Tax or TDS in the base product with Indian localization and can easily automate TDS calculations as per Indian TDS act in Navision 4.0 SP1 under Financial Management --> Setup --> Tax Deducted at Source
