Dear All,
I would like to short my time by not to fill posting date in posting field on consumption journal when posting multiple production orders components in a consumption journal. If I open it, posting date will be same as work date. I open production journal, I change posting date to another date, I fill prod. order no. field, then calc. consumption through function button. The components will be listed but..., the posting date still same with today's work date. If it happened, I must spend time to press F8 button in keyboard to copy the date. It is different with output journal, where there is no waste time to fill or copy the posting date field more than once. I will be waiting for your opinions..

I actually want the consumption journal posting dates based on the due date of the production order. If I have more than one due date because more than one production orders and posting their components consumption in the journal, I don't think I will use work date changeover every time I post them in one consumption journal.

tks a lot but I don't think I will customize. Navision very superb system, I have found out now how to do what I want that is by using posting date field in the options tab on calculate consumptions windows after click function button on consumption journal window, whenever I want to calculate consumption of every production orders with different due date and posting their components all at once in a certain work date but not use the work date as a posting date. So, what I suggest is using posting date field in options tab before calculate consumption when using consumption journal.
