automatic transferring items

Dear all,
I don't understand how to solve the problem I have, that deal with vendor card and customer card. I want to have 2 warehouse consists of raw material warehouse and production warehouse. I set location code field in receiving tab on vendor card with name for example "warehouse" and "production" for customer location code in shipping tab on customer card. When I use planning worksheet to calculate MRP and MPS, the system generate Purchase Order warehouse location for raw material as same as production raw material warehouse location, and location code in vendor card will not be considered by system automatically when using MRP calculation except create the PO manually or I change location code after purchase requisition line created in planning worksheet. But if I change location code in location filter field of item tab on calculate Plan - Plan Wksh. windows different from location code field in shipping tab on the customer card, the system results in nothing, no purchase requisition generated. SO, I have to use production location code to generate purchase requisition line in planning wksh. As an alternative, I must use transfer order, but when two product items using then same production BOM, but different qty to produce and different production locations, I must two times create transfer order. I really need helps to solve this problem. tks a lot.

Locations meant to be used as a physical location: a site, and not as warehouse room or buildings within sites. You can represent rooms as Bins, or, if you want to use Bins for shelves, then as Zones if you buy the full WMS (but that's expensive and complicated). Or you can do what I usually do: if there is warehouse A,B,C, and only B would have shelves, then represent it as bin A, B-1,B-2,B-3,C. And create a special report for inventory in B-*

Do It Yourself is they key. Standard code might work - your code surely works.

I think if I use bins or shelves and not WMS, could it be used as replacement of transfer order ? I just want if I use bin, I will not utilize transfer order, but if I still must use it, I won't use bin.
Indeed, we can say bin relate to warehouse in a certain physical location, but if there is no direct connection to a physical location of production, I think it will make no different. I can say I will use physical location A for raw material receiving terminal and physical location B for raw material processing work station. Using transfer order to connect both.
    tks for your opinion.
