I'm working with an customised Navision database, called Incadea (INternational CAr DEaler Application).
We would like do do some testing via ODBC but the supplier won't give the CD or the driver for free.
Can anyone help me?
The demo license (on product cd) will allow you to use the odbc driver with the demo (CRONUS) database. You would need to purchase the granule before using it with your production database.
It's a native one and we DON'T have the product CD! The supplyer won't give it. He only wants us to buy additional modules. In contradiction, the granule is on our license!
I checked partnersource and couldn't find any download area neither.
Since you have apparently purchased the odbc granule (you say it is in your license), I can not think of any reason why your NSC does not supply you with the software.
1. It's a customised product, not just Navision
2. There is just one supplier in Belgium
3. I'm just a small IT guy that don't take decisions about contracts
4. Before I can prove the need for this driver to my superiors, I have to show the possibilities for our company. I give just one example:
We use the time registration feature but every month, someone has to PRINT out these records en TYPE them into an Access database to create some overviews en calculations. -> 120 employees, quite a silly job!
5. I think that the granule in the licence was not ment to be there...
Comments
By the way, everyone seems to have a product CD WITH the driver, we don't!
