Hi,

I am getting following Event Log Warning in Event Viewer while starting NAS.

The description for Event ID ( 109 ) in Source ( HITLER-CLASSIC ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: The TCP/IP connection's 'host' is not answering (TCP/IP error ECONNREFUSED)

What settings I should put in hosts and services file ?
At present my hosts file is having one entry:
127.0.0.1 localhost
I have added one line in services file:
navision4 2047/tcp

My database server service name is NAVISION4 and my system name is HITLER.

I have installed follwoing things.
- Installed Windows 2003 with Domain Controller (named NAVISION)
- IIS server
- .Net Framework 1.1
- Message Queue
- Microsoft Sharepoint Services
- Visual J# .Net Framework Redistrubutable Package
- Navision Database Server (Native)
- Navision Client
- Navision Application Server
- Navision Employee Portal Front End Components

I have created NEP_user login with Administrative rights and assigned it to Database and NAS service.

I have added this login into Navision Windows Login and in Users Form with appropriate groups (Sales and Production).

I dont knwo where I have done wrong !

Let me have some experts comments on it.

Regards,

Naimish

    Database: Database Name with Path

??? Why you are filling this if you are connecting to the Native server? Leave this empty...

    Thanks for you co-operation.

I know English very well and not asking for that to anyone.

I have solved my problem and there was not any concern with PORT.

I think I dont have to learn English but BlackTiger you need to learn how to talk on Forum.

    Anyway thanks
