I was too impressed with you Alex & wondered what all effort you would have put to learn so much about Navision to gain such expert knowledge while doing routine office/IT work.
I faintly remember in one post you mentioning something like that & I used to give your example to all the system admin and other IT staff of the client. #-o
Actually, I'm more impressed by the other MVPs on the expert knowledge they deliver to this forum.
But let's not get involved in the "Mutual Admiration Society". We're all here to help each other out and to make the world a better place (the world of Navision anyway).
Sometimes I feel Like he wants to be low key but your hard work has not gone unnoticed!
ara3n 4000 posts! =D> =D>
Firstly I would like to send a big round of applause =D> =D> =D> to Rashed, for reaching this milestone. but I would like to expound on this. What I think we are all not acknowledging, is Quality vs Quantity. I think that forget the number, most importantly look at the quality of his posts. Having known him since his early days in NAV, I must say that its rare that I see anyone that has advanced and expanded their Navision horizons as much as Rashed has. He has gone from being a newbie programmer, to a true Navision all round consultant, his posts are not just code based, but he provides real help to users wanting to make crucial business decisions, and in the last couple of years, I find it very hard to find any posts of his that I would disagree with. I remember the days when "top poster" was more of a friendly rivalry between Steve an I, and I know that this rivalry helps build a great community, but the great thing is that even with quantity, that both "The Dynamics User Group" and "MIBUSO" have managed to maintain such a high level of quality people providing quality information. Bravo to all out there doing that.
But especially to Rashed, for showing that an open mind and determination can lead to a person becoming one of the best and most respected in their field.
wow. thanks for all your kind words.
I took some accounting classes, and have been working with a CPA, MBA consultant over the years on a lot of projects, who has thought me a great deal about business.
It has been a two way learning process, where he has learned development and I consult with him on business requirements.
The key is that the developer needs to be interested in business reasons, and the consultants needs to know what mod is risky and stay away from and find to do it the Navision way.
Thanks again.

That explains a lot. 8)
Even posts to say that a topic is locked and will be deleted count.
But when I delete my count goes down.
But even with all those posts I cannot compete with the top 2 posters. And also ara3n is getting close.
