Value disappear when inserting new record

Hi.

I have a problem in a own form when I try to insert a new value in a textbox. This value is the primary key of a own table. When I insert the value, this disappear of the textbox although if I close the form, this value es registered correctly and I can open the record and view this. This problem only happens when I insert a new record.

What is the problem? Is it any property of the form or any property of the textbox?

What is your delayedinsert property set to on the form?

You might have a filter set that excludes the record you are trying to enter. When you move off of the field the record in inserted and since it is outside the scope of the filter it "disappears".

If you want to fill the filtered fileds by the value of filter (must be single value), enable "PopulateAllFields" property of the form.
