Performance problem SQL2005 vs Native

I have made a report in Navision 5.0 that goes through "Item Ledger Entry". I use "Entry No." as key and the table has about 25000 records. The difference between Native and SQL2005 is 20 times faster in Native. Does anybody have an idea of what causes this?

That really depends on what the report does other than 'go through'0

What SQL statements do you get when you use the client monitor? The NAV reports have a very strange way of reading data en parsing that data to the client.
If it is a processing only report and performance is critical you might have to rewrite it or put it into a codeunit using the new find commands.
