Hi!
I have installed a SQL database server on Win2003 and the client on the server can connect succesfully. Both with winauth. and databaselogin.
Then I installed a client om my own winXP computer. But it cant find the server. Ping is working and I can create an ODBC connection fine. I've tried both with servername and IP-adress.
My client can connect to its own SQL database server local with no problems.
Any ideás???
Regards Andreas

Are remote connections enabled on SQL?There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0

SQL Developer Edition and SQL Server Express don’t allow out of box remote connection. You must manually activate it. Check that.0
