Negative values with zero quantity

Items on Inventory Valuation report show zero quantity and negative values, one item investigated goes back to 2001. Another item was changed this year where revaluation was done on purchase of 2 items and the third was rounded to zero cost but the system still shows cost attached to the sales entry for the third item.
