Hello
In 5.0 the send to excel has a limit of 5000 records on a list form. My guess this is done for performance reasons?
I would like to know if I can increase that. Thank you.
It's the same as copy and paste a list form so why the restriction?

Take a look under Tools --> Options --> Max. no. of XML records to send
You can set up the limit here (as Navision states in the message you get if you try to export more than 5000 records)?!
And yes performance is not great when you deal with a lot of records i just tried exporting with around 50.000 customers --> it didnt go to well0 -
that really sucks about the performance. I bet MS didn't put that in marketing bronchure.
All just useless marking BS.my 2 cents0 -

No, sorry. I had freeze problems in NAV and Excel while exporting a lot of data to Excel with my own codeunit. By adding 1Gb of memory it worked.0
