Fiscal Year - Close and open half way through previous year.

Hi
First post on the Mibuso forum :roll:

searched the forum for this but didnt see anything on this topic.

Could someone tell me if its possible to open a Fiscal year half way through a previous fiscal year? for example

Currently running a fiscal year from 1st Jan '07 to 31st Dec '07. i want to create a new year from 4th Aug '07. When trying to do so an error occurs "error - only possible to create new year before or after the existing one"

    Welcome :)

    In Standard Navision you can’t accomplish that because you already opened and fiscal year to end of this year.

    You could edit tables directly and change that, but you must know what you are doing.
