without Copying the data to another company

Hi,

If there is a company A having the posted records and some transactions.
If i create another company B , i have to get the same chart of Accounts,No series from the company A but without having the data's in the company B .

Is it possible in Navision. If it is, can anyone give the solution.

    have you tried going into company A chart of accounts -> Select->Copy
    then go into company B chart of accounts -> paste?

    Besides perfect solution that Savatage gave to you. :)
    You should also look in setup checklist witch allows you to copy some tables between companies.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I have copied the chart of accounts from Company A to Company B.
    I have generated the New No series for company B. But when i try to post ,it gives the error
    " There is no accounting period within the filter"
    Filters :Closed : No



    Please provide a solution for this.

    In Financials Menu you have accounting periods you must create a new one.
