Entries of Type = Surplus are the result of Item Tracking LinesThere are no bugs - only undocumented features.0

Do you know how it calculates the Quantity figure at all for a Surplus Entry as I cannot make sense of it here?? :-k0

The Quantity will be what ever the user enters in "item tracking lines" form. The system will combine similar entries when the form is closed. Look at form 6510. This is the code that creates the entries. There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0

I normally find surplus reservation entries created when I assign lot/serial numbers to a sales line. This is because there is no explicit tie between the inventory supply and the sales line demand.
If you check the help around the Reservation Status field it explains all 4 option values.0
