IP address of client

Anyone found an easy way to find out ip address of client in navision?
Need to a way restrict access to navision based on ip addresses....

    IMHO its networking security problem, not Navision - and you should be able to restrict/allow access in your servers/routers etc.

    At least your network admin can do it easily :)

    Use the shell command

    and then use the "ipconfig > c:\ip.txt" command

    then use navision to read the content of the ip.txt file. The ip number will be in there.

    that will do the trick
