Sending mail on sales order

Hello again!

I want to know if Outlook Integration or Business Notification allow to send mail when a sales order is post without no development. Is there some way for doing it? I'm trying to configure some email notifications related with sales orders and I don't know if Outlook integration allows it.

So, if I need to send some mails in sales order, invoice order, or other similar documents I have to use SMTP (Nav 5.0) or Mail codeunits?

I don't want to do any development if it's no necessary.

i know our E-ship from Lanham came with all those e-mail goodies built in.

All I had to do was create an email template of how i wanted it to look & click some check boxes.

there was a discussion on another post about E-ship being available in europe now. So you would have to contact your NSC and ask about it. It's a 3rd party add-on.
