Could someone tell what make an option menu becomes grey?

Hello,
Could someone tell what make an option menu becomes grey?
I believed that this happened when I removing the permision for the Form and/or the SourceTable of the option menu.

Do you mean when it becomes not editable?

You change the editable property on the field. If it's set to NO, then it's gray.

Thanks but, that's not what I mean.
I need the option menu becomes grey depending the user role.
I mean if the user has permission for that FORM or that SOURCETABLE.

Nope, you won't be able to do that with just roles. You have to do some modification in order to do that.
