Has anyone done an upgrade from Navision 4.0 to Navision 5.0. I am asking this because the upgrade toolkit is not yet available. Incase anyone has come across structural changes in the tables that need to be taken into account when moving the data accross and merging the objects.

Upgrading the objects is not a problem to do it without upgradetoolkit.
The problem is the upgrade of the data. Doing that without upgradetoolkit and not knowing if something has to be changed is dangerous.
So probably no-one has done that yet.Regards,Alain Krikilion

One of the MVPs, Mark Brummel, did the upgrade manually. However, he didn't have any inventory to deal with.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Please reconsider. You will almost certainly miss something. Wait for the tools.David Singleton0
