issues abt upgrade

I want to know major issues regarding upgradition from 2.7 to 3.7.
help me in this matter

Upgrade is first of all to make ALL CUSTOMIZATIONS ONCE MORE.

It' not unusual, that some customizations are not well documented (as they need) and after the update you will see some problems again, that are already solved - but solved in the old version.

Migration from 2.70 to 3.70 is more than one step, and I know, that the update tools are not really good.

One of the major steps is the new structure with value entry table, where you will find all changes and booking with their value. There you or your NSC will have some problems with the upgrade tool because the generation of the values for the old bokings is not working fine.

ODBC connections will have some problems too, because they has renamend some fields. It's good for training the brain. ;-)

Some new features will make some new frustrations - but there are also some enhancemants. For example: The database is running very stable!!

And - last but not least: You will have some problems with the user rights, because the user rights system is much more difficult.
