Auto Create Record in Related Table

Hello,

is there a property what creates automatically a missing record in the "table related" table.

For example:
I enter in a Budget Line: Type=Resource; No.= R1
If now R1 does not exsist, I want to add it in the table automatically instead of the error message. I know if I toggle "Validate Table Relation" off, it won't give me the error, but I even want the missing record to created.

Any ideas?

    Hy you could try
    Administration->Application Setup->General-> Setup CheckList->Functions-> Data Validation. It was introduced in SP1. I hope it helps

    Hello,
    thx. But that's not my question. The example was an example. Same could be "Base Unit of Measure" in the Resource table. Instead of creating the value in the Table "Resource Unit of Measure" I just want to type it in the Resource table and it should be created automatically in "Resource Unit of Measure". Maybe there is no property and I have to code it.
