Not allowing mixed Account Types in a Bank Payment- is this Nav standard or there is a way out?

Navision is a double entry accounting system. So the proper account would go from sales to a/r, a/r to cash. These are 2 distinct transactions.
What you can do is create a sales invoice, and under the payment method field, choose the payment method with the balance account type and balance account no. filled in.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
