Item Vendor Catalog reset Desc on Item C. R.

Dear All Navision Expert,


I've recently encountered a problem with NAV 4.0 SP1. The following is the scenario:

1. I went to Item > Cross Reference in the Item Card and created a vendor cross reference for an item with the "Description" filled in.
2. I went to Item > Vendor in the Item Card and enter the "Lead Time Calculation" for that same vendor that I created in Item Cross Reference.
3. When I went back Item > Cross Reference, I found that the "Description" is now blank.
4. I went to create a Purchase Order to the vendor and added a line using the cross reference. The "Description" went blank also.


Anybody know why this is happening? I suspect that the cross reference lrecord got deleted and re-insert because the client monitor shows that there were deletion activity on the Item Cross Reference table when I perform task #2 above.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

    when you entered cross reference Description, Have you pressed
    Esc key??? press TAB / ENTER key then pres Esc key.

    Confirmed that the "Description" is entered when creating the Item Cross Reference record. It disappeared after the Item Vendor Catalog record is updated.

    Problem was solved by Microsoft with a patched to CU 5702.
