wow that makes no sense at all....
There is no datatype 'yr' in NAV, could you explain more detail about what you are trying to do?0 -
I think he's trying ot create a year look up. In this case, you'll need to create a field that looks up to the Date table.
But first, you'll need to understand the structure of the Date table. So you'll need to create form with the Date table as the source expression.
Hope this helps you out.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I did... ERP for Computer clubs and Internet Coffee (Computer games clubs...) - Inventory, Sales and Time Credit management with Game library and employee management (and protecting users to run something other than selected application or game and as long as he has credits... :-)) all done in Borland C++ Builder (with Item ledger entries, customer entries etc...) 8) but now it is not so much used anymore, because everyone has internet at home...0 -
Hi Navax,
I am not sure what your question exactly is.
But if you expect a lookup with year, the answer is - 'Yr' EDT would not give you any lookup.
Currently Ax provides only date lookup through 'TransDate' EDT. This does it through EDT's form help property (SysDateLookUp form).
Hope this helps,Harish Mohanbabu
