Importing stock amounts by lots

We can't import stock amounts be lots. When we post item journal with items imported by dataport we've an error with item tracking.
What's the best and correct way to import stock amounts with lots?

I'm not sure what your error is? I have had problems item tracking problems when importing item journal lines with "Serial Nos.".
