Print Label over Citrix connection

Hi,

I need some help on setting up a remote label printing through Citrix. User connect to the Navision server over Citrix client and try to print label to his/her local PC LPT1 port. The printer is Eltron LP 2642 and worked fine at server site. I used "net use LPT1 \\Client\LPT1: and net use /PERSISTENT:YES" to setup the connection while remote user connect to Citrix server. Somehow nothing happened!!!

Please any help!

    I read that in 5.0 one of the change that they make was to CU 1, to make the printer name case insensitive.

    Try to make sure the printer name is uppercase.

    Hi,

    Well, this is what I found out.
    The MS Navision support center I used at Long Island, NY told me that I should not have any printer installed for label printing and Navision writes to the port direct anyway, so it would not matter.
    For some reason, the instruction was not working with the case connecting through citrix and print the label remotely.
    I installed the zebra printer, using add printers, at local computer and it is working now. I only need to install one model and I can use A-B switch for multi label printers printer different size labels. :!: :?: :idea:
