Why is there a testfield on "job no." when posting in an order and not in an invoice?? why was that done that way ??

In my view - it is because Navision (MBS) wants to point out, that the planning engine in the Job module is not including Sales orders.
For instance - You can put a resource on the Job Budget Line, and it is shown in the planning engine for each resource - but if You put a Resource on an Order - it is not reserved! That I think is the "logic".
I also remove the testfield-option in CU80.Regards,

Well planning engine, while it is still possible to allocate 20000 hours on 1 day , I am having problems with calling it a planning engine, but ok. But think of the possibility that u have budgetted the use of an item. and the selling of that item is done with wharehouse management, then u will have to use the Sales order. To insert the job no. which the item relates to is simply not possible...I still don't know why.0
