How to configure Installation checklist

hi I am a new user in AX, and jus installed the product.
Now when i am running Dynamics AX frm Start->Programs, then i can see an installation checklist on the left of the pane.
In that i have done the first three jobs successfully, but the rest i.e. synchronizing tables/indexes, adding company accounts, import data is not yet green (not yet configured). I have done the synchronizing through Administration tab, but its not doing so... So also i have created a company account and imported data but no improvements :(
Can smone help me in this regard and show me how one starts the Microsoft Dynamics AX after all the configuration settings? I have doubt in starting AOS also, whr cud i see tht in the services. I didnt see any AOS in the Administration Tools->services. Plz help me...

    Hi, if you want to disable check list, the same in Axapata 3.0 Administration\Set up\System\Checklist\prevent start…..
    You have to do consistently all in check list, if you want to make green check box.
    AOS may have installed in remote comp. If you have installed in local, see services
    Dynamics Server$< your company name>. Remember that you can start AOS, but can’t start Client.
