Can not assign new numbers

Hi

This is Navision 4.0 SP1. On posting of General Journal, got the error” You can not assign new numbers from the number series GJNL-GEN on a date before 2/28/07” You have to go to the Number series to change the numbering series date. What caused this error? Does anyone know?

    Couple of things that comes to mind:
    1. Did you check on the Automatic numbering?
    2. Did the No. Series expired?
    3. Has the number series reached it's End number?

    In No. Series you have last used date.
    You are trying to assign a number before that date. Check the posting date of general jounal line and the above deadlizard solutions.

    You must have date order activated on the no series GJNL-GEN. You probably have posted transactions using the no series GJNL-GEN on the date 2/28/07.

    You either need to disable date order for that no series or use another no series.
