Dear all,
Is Navision can restrict user by record level?
For example, If I don't want user to using some account code on Chart of Account or some customer code on Customer list for any purpose. I found that security make ppl confuse for record filtering.
Is there have anyone can help me?
Thanks!

The Navision Application Designer's Guide (Chapter 23) describes how to enable record RECORD LEVEL SECURITY (only in SQL Server Option).
You could look at the Financial Management, at the chapter "17. System Security and System Maintenance". It has a few paragraphs conserning the record level security and how to use it...
I hope this helps...0 -
You could code using FILTERGROUP. This way the user can't see all the data by just removing filters. You will have to do some coding but this wouldn't be extremely complicated.0
