Navision Developer toolkit Errors

Dear All,
here i am doing some Localization .
i am trying to merge the Local Objects using toolkit.

My Database: Navision 4.0SP3
My Toolkit is :NDT Sp2.0Sp2
i have created a Database using Nav4.0SP2 client for Developer toolkit
and i am trying to do merging. but i am getting an error mean while merging

Access violation at address 007E5DD0 in Module"Devtool.exe" Read of Address 05Ba4000

Database Errors are coming Like

Database Error 7,504,1097 etc.

    I am doing upgradation from 3.7 to 4.0. Can you suggest the steps that i should follow. I will be highly thankful to you.

    Try using a 4.00.00 database for the toolkit database.

    if i use Nav4.00.00 then which tool kit is suitable?

    Continue to use the SP2 toolkit.

    Ramesh,

    The toolkit you use should be OK. De database as well.
    If the error keeps bugging you, try to do it on a seperate PC (could be a hardware issue).

    I encountered this error on a 4.3 GB native database. Sometimes an error "C++ Exception" popped up instead too. I increased the DBMS Cache ( Tools/Options/Database) from default 16000 KB to 50000 KB, after that it worked.
