problem with License

Hi All,
We are at a client location for implementation and facing a typical problem with client license.
We used developer license with client database initially and later replaced it with client license. Now whenever we restart the server, the service is not started automatically. It looks for developer license. We replace fin.flf in server folder with developer license and it allows to start the service. After this we replace fin.flf again with client license(with service running) and it works fine. This happens everytime we restart the server.
Can you guys suggest something on this. Does it have something to do with database?
Regards,
Rohit

What kind of error you get when you start server with client licence? :?:0

Maybe there are start parameters setup up with the service. Can you look at the Navison Database Server Properties? Take a look & see if anything looks strange.
Administrative Tools->Services->Navision.....0 -
start the server directly on commandline from the server directory, and watch the information the server displays (most of this can also be found in the WIndows-Log).
maybe you just forgot to ad the servergranule to the licence?0 -
Does the client's license allow you to run the Navision server(Granule ID 1520)?
Did you try loading the client's license to see if the file is corrupted?

Thanks for all the response.
We have tried running server.exe at command prompt and it shows the following message with client license "The license is not valid for this operating system".
There is no service startup property to define the license mentioned in documentation, Pl let me know if any such property exists.
The developer license is required only at the time of startup of service. After starting the service, we switch to client license and it works fine.
Still in the problem...

Look into licence file (txt or fob) and look for granule 1,5x0 (1,520 for win NT)... you must have valid granule for OS you want use...0

Thanks to all of you.
It was cause of 1520. The granule was missing in the license.
Thanks again
