Open company functionality

Hi,

One of our customers has more than 400 hundred companies in his Navision database (Native 4.00)

Many users do not have access to all companies but only to 10 or 20 companies. When the user needs to open a new company (Ctrl+O) he gets a list of all companies.
Can we change this functionality so the user only gets a list of relevant companies?

As far as I know this is not possible with the standard functionality of NAV. But is it at all possible for me to change this functionality?

    Have you assigned the Company Names to the roles of the users that may only see a few companies?

    Quoting the on-line help:
    As a default, permissions apply to all the companies in the database but they can be restricted to a particular company. To do this, enter the name of the company (or use the AssistButton in the Company field on the right side of the window). For permissions to apply to several companies, you must set up one line per company (each line starting with the same role ID). If you specify that the permissions a user has only apply to a particular company in the database, the user in question will only be able to see that company.
