Prevent Posting to G/L Accounts

I want to prevent posting to G/L accounts whenever a shipment or receipt is posted from sales and purchase order respectively in navision attain.

Can anybody help me out?

I guess you can play around with the posting groups in setup. But I don't think navision will run without posting groups n such. Maybe if we knew what you are trying to accomplish, there might be another solution.

Take a look at the CU80/90. You will find (depends on the version) some lines in the style

GenJnlPostLine.RunWithCheck(GenJnlLine,TempJnlLineDim);

if you make a

if Not AvoidPost then
GenJnlPostLine.RunWithCheck(GenJnlLine,TempJnlLineDim);

out of them, you will get your whis. but handle with care and think twice before. we did this for posting Cash-receipts (POS), they should not make a entry in the G/L nor a open Customerentry. The Company booked this entrys every evening in one ammount, and, yes, thats legal. (at least in Germany)
