Read record from different SQL database

Hi All,
I’m trying to buid a function for deleting records in a table in a sql database base on the records of the same table in the different sql database.
Was there anyone having experience building a code referencing from one database to another?
Or maybe was there any of this topic has been discuss I can read from?
