OCX and Excel automation problem

Hi!
After an upgrade to 40Sp3 I have a problem with several Automation objects.
I had a lot of variables, all of the type Automation, that used the 'Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library', different parts of it.
After the upgrade, they where all set to "unknown automation".
I can still choose the 'Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library' in the variable subtype, but when I run it i get the error:
"Could not create an instance.... (yaddayaddayadda) .... Check that the OLE control or automation ser is correctly installed and registered"
I tried to go to the "Tools->Custom controls", but the only option there is to "Browse", as I cannot find the OCX in the list allready there.
Do you know where I can find the 'Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library' so I can reregister the control?
Bob
Further information: It seems that the OCX was previously called "Microsoft Office Spreadsheet 11.0" and that could have caused the confusion.

This is not OCX, this is automation. And this automation is installed by MS Office installation. Are you using same PC as before? Which version of office you have installed on the PC?0

I am still on the same PC, and I am using office 2003 proffesional edition.
The installation pattern is the same on all pc's, before and after upgrade.
I will investigate further!
Thanks.Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.0 -
Try checking if you can see the automation when you click Tools, Custom Controls0

hi
I'm not sure what the Upgrade to 4.0 sp3 really does but I think you lost some type library registry entries for office 11.
you can try this:
download and install office 11 pia's:
