Configure print preferences / print tray...?

Hello

I want to use a printer with 4 trays to print out different types of forms like delivery notes, etc. This printer is configured on terminal server and trays can be manually selected for any application other than Navision, it seems whichever tray the printer it is configured to use beforehand - it always prints out of tray 2!! I can't seem to find any options to configure or set this up, does anyone know if it can be done??

    You can create new instance of the printer for each tray, set the default selection for the tray and you can work with it as if you have 4 differenct printers... :-)

    Slight problem...

    There are now 4 printers (for the 4 trays) to choose from - all labelled up depending on the type of paper that's in it - but whichever one is chosen it always prints from tray 3!! This has also been changed in print preferences to tray 2 etc but still no joy!! Any ideas what might be causing this??

    1) Be sure that the report has no set the property PaperSourceXXX.
    2) Be sure that you set the default settings for the printer, not user settings.
    3) Is the problem occuring when printing from another application?

    all this works fine from other applications e.g Office? still having problems?any ideas? Thank you!
