UOM for Purchase Prices

Hi,

This company has different UOM for purchase, sales and prices catalogs. Is there a way to setup the Prices list for one UOM but converts to another UOM on the purchase lines?

For example, Purhcase UOM is Sheet, the BASE UOM is LM, the Price catalogs UOM is SM It looks like I have to setup the exactly price on Purhcase Prices window for Sheet in order to use Sheet's prtice on the purchase lines. Otherwise, it uses Last Direct Cost on the Item card and do the conversion.

Can we setup the price for SM on Purhcase prices window and let it convert to be Sheet on purchase lines?

Thanks!!

    Yes,
you can have multiple UOM's for purchasing & selling.

as long as they have an identical base uom to start with.

if you search the forum for "UOM" - you should find some posts.

    Hi,

I knew that I can have mulitple UOM, but I want to use the purchase prices for the different UOM other than the one I setup on Purchase Prices window for the conversion. I tested and found out Navision only does conversions with Last Direct Cost on the Item card not the Prices on Purchase Prices window.

    Thanks

Try it with intercompanies ...
Seems they forgot their functionality there... along with plenty of other stuff.
