Navision v/s Outlook

Hi All,
A client of ours is using Terminal Services to connect to Navision and sending emails through Outlook (from Navision - using Authorization module that we have designed).
Outlook has been setup with its own profile but multiple users are sendoing email (each with its own profile).
Does anyone know if this is the right way to do as we are encountering some performance issue which is quite difficult to pinpoint exactly why??..tried running performance monitoring on the server but still no luck.
Can anyone help????
Many thanks in advance.

I would expect that launching Outlook (yeah it basically launches the whole thing to send an email) is using a lot of ram, then probably closing, and then leaking.
Can you use something else to send the email. I know that on this site there is a download somewhere that will allow you to send email from Navision without Outlook.David Singleton0
