Version history in CRM

Hi,

A customer of ours logs their communications with all contacts with the CRM functionality of NAV. As they are an engineering company, they have designs they send to their customers. As you will understand, a design is never accepted at the first try... So they send the design, get feed-back of their customer, modify the design, send it again etc.

Storing the documents in NAv is not a big problem. Keeping track of the document versions (revisions) however, is causing me some headaches :shock: : They store the design as an attachment in the interaction log. How can I relate new revisions of this document to earlier ones (like you do with quotations, more or less)?

    afaik, this is no standard functionality.

    We did some (easy) customizations for this (during the wizard, link an interaction to a base version).
