Planning Dynamics NAV

In Dynamics NAV it is possible to plan manufacturing order's, via the Gant chart (Production Schedule).
Is it possible to use this Production Schedule for the use with order tables? For example Sales Header for the shipment planning.
Are there other options for planning in Dynamics NAV, for example in MS projects or Dynamics NAV add ons.

For graphical planning you must use add-ons.Is it possible to use this Production Schedule for the use with order tables? For example Sales Header for the shipment planning.

Yes, manufacturing can be planned by the Gant Chart from Navision version 4 onwards.
However, that component is not made my Microsoft or Navision. No, they bought it from a German company, Netronic. ( http://www.netronic.com
So, if you need a solution for other areas in your Navision application, you could buy the component there.0 -
So, we can not use the GANT charts for other tables, like orders?0
-
No, you can't with the component that installs directly with navision.0

Has anybody used the activex in NAV from http://www.netronic.com ?0
