If you have SKU (Stockkeeping units) licenced you can define colours as dimensions for the item variant. If you select G/L Account Balance by Dimension you can filter for the different colours.
If you need different accounts for the cost, customisation is needed. ( An additional "Gen. Prod. posting group" on the SKU Card and modifications to the sales line ,purchase line, item journal etc. to use this instead of the Item Gen. Prod. posting group.)Kai Kowalewski0
