Dear All
My client is having a one (Customized)software where they collect all the data of Leave(Any kind of leave) of employees. They store their data in sql (2000)Database.My client is having navision 3.7 with SQL Server 2000.
What we have done right now we used scheduler and fetching the data from navision SQL database 2000. We cann't put the data into navision and use scheduler for fetching data from navision for that we have to maintain their seprate database.
We just want to collect all the data from SQL Server 2000 and putted into Navision directly.

Are the database on the same SQL Server?
I hope I understand you correctly.
If you want to copy the data into Navision, there are several options:
- Use the scheduler, create a view on the customized database, import into Navision (you can also use NAS)
- Use SQL triggers to fill a temp table in Navision database, and use NAS to import into the real tables (for field validation).
- ... (i'm sure there are other ways as well)
If you want to copy the data into the customized database, you can use te same logic.
If you want your customized Application to put the data right into Navision, you HAVE to work with a TEMP table. Use a scheduler or NAS to put it into the right tables of Navision. Why? For field validation. Your customized application cannot insert data AND using the business logic programmed into C/SIDE. This has to be done by the scheduler or (preferably) the NAS.0
